Take care of physical health

Physical Health:-For humans, physical health means a good body health, which is healthy because of regular physical activity (exercise), good nutrition and adequate rest.

Now Question arise in mind i.e:

How to stay physical healthy??

When we talk about how to stay healthy then so many points came in to mind then we get confused what to do or not what to do. Now I will discuss some points on physical health or how to stay physically healthy..

  1. Stay active. Exercise  at least 30 minutes a day , 3-4 days a week. If you're not into pumping iron, try exercises that use your body weight for resistance, such as yoga, dance etc . Work out all parts of your body, not just cardio.
  2. Eat healthy food. Cut down on red meats and increase the amount of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Avoid saturated fat, salt, and sugars. It's OK to reward yourself every now and then with that slice of Pizza, but don't eat the whole Pizza. Enjoy fats and sweets sparingly, and choose healthy fats such as olive, coconut and avocado oil.
  3. Eat smaller portions. Portion sizes served in restaurants are much larger than what our bodies actually need and what is healthy. Get out of the habit of feeling that you always have to finish your plate.
  4. Sleep. Sleep can add up to 11 years of your life. The amount of sleep you need varies between people, but most people need to get at least get 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night in order to function at their highest capacity. There are no rules to this, so if you need 10 hours of rest to feel good the next day, then that's what you need to do. The consequences of not getting enough sleep include feeling poorly, working inefficiently, weakening your immune system, and even depression.
  5. Boost your immune system. Make sure you get all the essential vitamins. For vegetarians, B & D vitamins can be hard to get (there is no source of vitamin B12 in a vegan diet), as well as zinc and iron. Consider taking a daily multivitamin. Vitamin C & zinc are also important for your immune system, and eating a balanced diet will ensure that you take in a sufficient amount.

  6. Keep in touch with doctor. Visit your doctor, dentist and gynecologist for yearly checkups. They can help keep a small problem from turning into a big one. Ask your doctor for a referral to a psychologist if you're feeling depressed or anxious. Stress and loneliness elevate cortical levels, which can lead to weight gain and send your sympathetic nervous system into overdrive. This can raise your blood pressure, compromise your immune system and even cause heart disease.
  7. Drink water. Drinking 8 glasses of water a day is the minimum. Don't wait until you feel thirsty, because at that point your body may already be dehydrated. Get in the habit of carrying a bottle of water with you at all times.
